Piccard

bridge

This place is not for the faint-hearted and people with a fear of heights. You will march over the gorge from one mountain to another on a 142 metre long bridge. You can cross the famous Piccard bridge and walk 100 metres above the abyss as a highlight on the Obergurgl-Ramolhaus circular hike.

Not just an excursion destination but an experience awaits you in the world of James Bond at the summit of the Gaislachkogl at 3,050 metres. You will find everything your 007 heart desires over 1,300 square metres, most of which are underground. From original utensils and interactive stations to the unbelievable views, everything here really deserves the rating: well worth seeing!

Hohler Stein

After the Iceman was found, there was another discovery from the Stone Age very nearby, an original hunting base dating back to 7600 B.C., the Hohler Stein mountain in Vent. The shelter is only about 10 kilometres from where the Iceman was found. You can immerse yourself in the life of Stone Age inhabitants at 2,050 metres.

Probably the most spectacular restaurant in the Alps sits enthroned at 3,048 metres high. Surrounded by over 250 magnificent three thousand metre peaks, you can experience futuristic design and exquisite gourmet delights here.
